Effectofdifferentmillingprocessesonthemineraldistributioninacoalpowder HaoJuanZhangHongYangKeyangLuChaoChenJiabaoLiYanan SchoolofChemicalEngineeringandTechnology.ChinaUniversityofMiningTechnology.Xuzhou221116.China CoalsamplesobtainedfromWanbei(WB),Pingxiang(PX),Liupanshui(LP),andDatong(DT)mineswere 2011-08-10 pulverized,usingeitheravibrationmilloraballmill,todifferentdegreesoffineness.Theeffectofthe differentgrindingmethodsonthemineraldistributionwithinthepulverizedcoalwasinvestigatedby 2011-10-15 usingproximateanalysis,particlesizeanalysis,andfloat-sinktests.Theresultsshowthattheashcontent inWB,PX,andDTcoalincreaseswithincreasingparticlesizeoverall,whiletheashcontentoftheLPcoal remainalmostthesamewithineachsizefraction.Inthatcasetheashineachfractionissimilartothatof therawcoal.Theashversussizedistributionsforthesamecoalsamplemilledwiththesamegrinding methodtodifferentdegreesoffinenessaresimilar.Theashversussizedistributionofthecoalpowder Milling; witha15％ screenresiduethatwaspreparedwiththevibrationmillisdifferentfromthedistribution Coalpowder; Mineral; ofasimilarsamplepreparedwithaballmill.Thecurvesalsovarybetweendifferentcoalsamples.The Distribution grindingmethodhasagreatinfluenceonthedistributionofmineralsacrossthevariousparticlesizes.
