T he m odeling metho d and simulatio n m ethod o n internal flow simulation w ere intro- duced. The distributio n characteristics of the flow velocity and pressure in the pumps w ere ana- ly ed, and the hydr aulic perform ance of pumps w as predicted based o n the flow simulation. The simulatio n results agree w ell w ith the experimental results. T he calculatio n results of the impact of the key structure parameter s o n the hy draulic performance of pumps indicate that the main pa- r am eters such as ax ial clearance of im peller, v ane w idth and ratio of casing and im peller si e have their optimum v alues. T he results provide valuable ref erences for structure and performance im- prov em ent of sanitary centrifug al pum ps.
