This study aims to understand the various job titles currently used in
the ID profession and their corresponding recruiting qualifications. It
compares the qualifications among the various design jobs in the product
development process, and between different types of design organizations.
Finally, the implications of the discoveries to design practice, education,
and student career guidance are discussed.
