How ever, the concept of the cooperation of industry, un iversity and research still d iverges. The concept of the coop eration of industry, un iversity and research shou ld be defined in narrow sense and broad sense. Based on the present situation of cooperation of industry, un iversity and research, the operational mechanism and exiting problems in cooperation of industry, university and research in Ch ina ae analyzed, the relevant policy is proposed to focus on mi proving the legal system and the innovation system.
