The effect of ret ent ion time on rotifer distribution was also analyzed in three reservoirs: Feilaixia Reservoir, Liuxihe Reservoir and Xinfengjiang Reservoir w ith different ret ention time from 2001 t o 2003. 101 species belonging to 36 genera of 20 families w ere identified The majority of the species were monogononts w hile bdelloids were represent ed only by Rotaria sp. , . .
