As a famous novelist , her reputation completely built on a short space of novels. Wuthering Heights was the only novel created by Emily Bronte the 19th English novelist , in her short span . Wuthering Heights was the greatest work, this main works on the exploration of human nature, let people see if there is no humanity, the world will become cruel, pain, ugly. Also Emily actual through tyranny and uncanny of the revenge love story exposes the evil of the patriarchy society, expressed a profound feminist social criticism, delivered its social significance. The novel continues the traditional novel model which regards revenge as the core , Love–hate-revenge-recovery of humanity and profound humanity though the entanglement of love and hate ,and co-existence of revenge and torment by the development of Heathcliff ‘s charater. The novel not only expressed the tense conflict between love and hatred ,but also implied the combination and transformation between them .The deepest love ,the strongest persistence and the most painful struggle express between Catherine and Heathcliff ,Cathy and Hareton. Incisively and vividly . Wuthering Heights ends up with the recovery of Heathcliff ‘s humanity –Love is followed by hatred ; hatred is caused by love; and finally love defeats hatred and gets its rebirth .Therefore ,the oppressed and distorted humanity is released at last.
