Analysis and design on frame tube j oints of Guangzhou Tower

Abstract :The frame tube structure of Guangzhou Tower is composed of inclined column ，bracing and inclined elliptical
ring ． The axes of the inclined column and the bracing are intersected ． The elliptical ring connects the oblique column with
the bracket stretched out the column ，and imposes constraints to the inclined column ． In order to meet the overall stability
and local stability requirements ，the joints of the frame tube must implement rigid connection ． The experimental verification
of the rigid joints ，the construction of joints and finite element analysis results were described ．
