B.TECH – CSE REGULATION- 2013 CURRICULUM SYLLABUS Department of CSE Vision and Mission of the department The vision of the Computer Science Engineering is: ‘Evolve as a center of excellence with international reputation in education and research to produce creators of innovative technology in Computer Science Engineering.’ The mission of the Computer Science Engineering Department is To produce high quality computer science and engineering professionals by imparting quality training, hands on experience, technical education and enrich the knowledge base of students and develop human resources for global development. To strengthen links with Industry through partnerships and collaborative developmental works. To attain self-sustainability and overall development through Research, Consultancy and Development Activities. PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES A strong foundation in Mathematics, Basic Sciences and coverage of the fundamentals of algorithms, data structures, software design, concepts of programming languages and computer organization and architecture. An exposure to a variety of higher-level programming languages and systems and the ability to analyze, design and implement hardware and software systems in advanced computing environment To demonstrate the ability of gauging the impact of computing on society and possess knowledge of the ethical, social and professional implications/responsibilities of their work Strong communication and interpersonal skills, broad knowledge and an understanding of multicultural and global perspectives to work effectively in multidisciplinary areas towards research perspective. Department of CSE Programme Outcomes: At the time of graduation, students from the Computer Science and Engineering program will possess: Graduates will demonstrate knowledge of computing, mathematical foundations, algorithmic principles, and computer science and engineering theory in the modeling and design of computer-based syst
