EVENT SPECIFICS, SAFETY, FIELD RULES- This event is free… there is no entry fee.- Lunch will NOT be available for sale onsite, nor will running water or electricity, but I will have some cases of bottled water available- All guns will be chrono’d on the field if a chrono is available; players are expected to be honest with their weapons FPS ratings and limitations - Please observe the 10 foot BANG rule… if you have the drop on someone and are close, BANG kill them. The bang kill is NOT a bunker-buster or a way to instant kill people by charging them… and remember it is only within 10 FEET, not 10 yards! - Blind firing is not allowed… you cannot hang your weapon around corners and fire blindly. You must be able to see down the barrel of your weapon before shooting.- FPS rules are as follows…UP TO 400 FPS: Standard Class weapon400 TO 550 FPS: Sniper Class WeaponAbove 550 is not allowed*Sniper class weapons have a 100 foot minimum engagement distance, they ARE NOT required to have a spotter but ARE required to follow the sniper rules and be safe.- Players 18 AND OLDER may wear a minimum of ANSI Z87.1 safety GLASSES (per WAA rules)- Players 17 and younger MUST WEAR ANSI Z87.1 FULL SEAL GOGGLES (per WAA rules) or approved wire mesh goggles- All players must sign a waiver; under aged players must bring a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian (this waiver can be found at )- Players may NOT use any deer stands or tree stands unless it has been approved on game day (assume you CANNOT use one unless you know otherwise)- All players attending any Rock Springs, WI field games must adhere to the no-tread areas (my aunt and uncle plant baby trees in some areas and don’t want them crushed) and make sure they CLOSE AND LATCH any and all gates they pass through. They do not have a driveway, but an easement that goes through the neighbor’s property… respect the neighbor and close the gates!
