臺灣音樂研究 第二期 頁 119～142 2006 年 04月 音樂文獻抑或藝術史小說-- 《行過洛津》 ∗ 林曉英 摘 要 《行過洛津》，是施叔青構思「臺灣三部曲」的首部長篇小說。書中設定的主 要時空場景，是作者組構的清代洛津（鹿港）。此原是文學文本自設天地的創造， 理應與「真假」程度有幾多是無涉的；然而，由於這個洋溢著南管樂音的藝術世 界，一如作者書中自陳藉由擷取大量與音樂、戲曲相關的歷史文獻「片段」的重 塑，從而交織於小說情節。此一特性，使得《行過洛津》一書除了原有作為「小 說」的屬性之外，在戲曲、音樂史的研究知識範疇，同樣具有可供解析之處；於 是，其作為「音樂文獻」及「藝術史小說」的屬性與定位問題，即隨之浮現。本 文試由小說內部所呈現的藝術文化史意識，以及史料文獻的應用與轉化，作為本 文論述的線索，探看此書於「音樂文獻」/ 「藝術史小說」相互間可能的辯證關係。 拙文的論述立場與最終關懷，無意站在文學批評向度來討論施叔青是如何「架 構與描繪」這幅藝術社會風情畫，而是嘗試藉由此一文本反映的歷史意識與整體 呈現之結果為析讀目標，探討「藝術史小說書寫」真正面臨的課題。以凸顯「精 確掌握」其所述社會之藝術與文化的內涵理路，實為建立「小說書寫」與「藝術 史書寫」二者之間產生具有更深層文化脈絡意義之「對話」機制與思考的重要指 標。 關鍵詞：洛津、音樂史、文獻、小說、藝術史書寫 本文 2005.01.16收稿；2006.04.10修稿；2006.02.24通過刊登。 ∗ 國立中央大學中國文學系博士生 Art-Historical Novel Writing: A Case Study of “Xing Guo Luo-Jin” Lin,Hsiao-Ying ∗ Abstract “ Xing Guo Luo-Jin （Walking Through Luo-Jin ）＂ is the title of a novel about Taiwan in Qing Dynasty written by the famous writer -- Shi Shu-Qing （施叔青）. The story happened in Luo-Jin （now Lu-Gang 鹿港）, Shi＇s hometown, which was the center of economics and arts in the midland of Taiwan at that time. As the novel depicted the real life of Luo-Jin by lots of historical episodes from music, plays, and dramas, the novel successfully created a world full of the music of Nan-Guan （南管）, and imagined a vivid story of music and opera at that time. Thus, such a novel becomes an art-historical novel which is not only a piece of literature works, but also a valuable document for the study on the history of music.
