Study on the BRT Intersection Signal Priority System of Urumqi A Dissertation Submitted for the Degree of Master Candidate：Li Hui Supervisor：Prof. Hu Dawei Chang’an University, Xi’an, China i 摘 要 乌鲁木齐市是新疆维吾尔自治区首府，是全疆政治、经济、科技和文化中心，也是 全疆公路、铁路、航空运输的枢纽。随着乌鲁木齐市经济的快速发展，人民生活水平的 提高，人们的出行活动越来越频繁，人们对出行质量的要求日益提高，机动化程度大幅 度提高，给城市交通带来了很大的压力。快速公交系统（Bus Rapid Transit ，简称BRT ） 是一种耗资低、建设期短、速度快、准时性好的新型高效率公共交通解决方式。 本文以乌鲁木齐市城市交通现状分析为背景，在国内外相关研究技术的基础上，研 究了乌鲁木齐市BRT 交叉口公交信号优先系统的设计，选择乌鲁木齐市典型路口对信 号控制方案进行相位设计，最后对乌鲁木齐市的BRT 优先效益进行评价，得出实施BRT 公交信号优先系统的优势。 关键词：快速公交系统、信号优先系统、相位设计、优先效益评价 ii Abstract Urumqi is the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, which is not only the Xinjiang’ s political, economic, technological and cultural center, but also the Xinjiang’ s roads, railways and air transport hub. With the rapid development of the Urumqis economic, peoples living standards are improved. The people travel frequently, the demand of travel quality increases day by day, and the degree of motorization raises sharply, which bring a lot of pressure to the urban transport. Bus Rapid Transit （BRT ） is a new and high efficient resolution on public transport with low cost, short construction period and good punctuality. On the basis of the relevant technology and the traffic situation analysis of the Urumqi City, the design of Urumqi’s BRT intersection bus signal priority system is researched, and a typicality sections in Urumqi are chose to do phase design for signal control program. Finally, BRT priority effectiveness of Urumqi is evaluated, and gives the advantage of the implementation of the BRT bus signal priority system.
