In this paper, based on a number of issues existed in the current students training model and curriculum, the role of engineering training (modern industrial training) courses in the educational process at colleges of engineering was discussed, a number of engineering training mode at home and abroad was comparative studied. This paper focus on analysis of engineering training system for the application-oriented talents, and suggests ways and means to construct engineering training system, which have an important reference value for cultivation of application-oriented talents.
