METHODS: Salidroside and its analog were prepared from 2(4hydroxyphenyl)acetic acid by acylation,reduction,glucosidation and alcoholysis, The total yields were 63% and 67%, respectively. RESULTS: The new method shortened the reaction steps and increased the yield, and the reaction condition was mild, and the manipulation was simple.
