The e istence, source, sink and the changing process of the petroleum hydrocarbons are in detail introduced. The marine hazard problem of oil pollution is also discussed. All kinds of preventive measures and the advantages and disadvantages are analyzed for the oil pollution and some suggestions for study at present and in the future are put forward.
