Introduction
Background
The Trans European Road Network (TERN) is a European road network that is comparable with the E-number network. The need was felt within CEDR that the views of road users on the respective networks of CEDR members should be compared.
Aim of the study
In 2005 a so-called ‘European Road User Survey 2004’ (ERUS 2004) was presented to the CEDR Governing Board (GB). The GB decided to conduct an ERUS in 2006. The aims of this ERUS were
