The eneral construction method of ZCZ array set was based on perfect array, but the proposed construction method is based on perfect punctured array pairs and ortho onal matrix, ZCZ punctured array pairs set with certain vol ume and zero correlation zone can be synthesized throu h interleaved transformation when suitable shift sequences are selected. The existent ran e of perfect punctured array pairs is so wide that they can improve the volume limitation of perfect period correlation ar ray. So with the proposed method, ZCZ punctured array pairs set have lar er capacity of Z CZ array set, which can satisfy require ments of en ineerin applications.
