In order to reduce the consumption of oil and other fuels , improve environmental conditions ,it is very urgent to seek clean energy vehicles. Air power engines use high-pressure air to push the piston of the engine,the potential energy of high-pressure air is converted to mechanical energy .There is no combustion process in air power engines, do not consume fossil fuels,low noise and no pollution. The paper analyzed the research status at home and abroad on the air power engine, introduced several common power measurement methods , briefly described the working process and theoretical work cycle of the air power engine, some factors influencing the performance of the air power engines were analyzed. Introduced the basic parameters of the various components of the test device, and by learning the principles of generators , a small generator was chose as the load of the air power engine to test the power. However, due to the running stability problems of the air power engine itself , the determinate electrical power can not be measured by the this power-test system. Therefore, this article introduces a scheme for improving power-test system, the voltage is sampled by SCM, obtained the electric power through integration method.
