Clinical Study on Treating the Rapid Arrhythmia of Qi and Yin Deficiency Type with Traditional Chinese Medicine And Acupuncture Treatment Speciality ：TCM Author ：Zong Wenjing Tutor：Profeser Xue Yitao ABSTRACT Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of Pingxindingjitang supplemented by acupuncture with the function of enriching qi nourishing yin calming the heart and mind to treat the rapid arrhythmia of qi and yin deficiency type. Method:60 patients were seperated into two groups stochastically (acupuncture cure group 30 and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) with acupuncture cure group 30). The observation treating course were eight weeks with drugs applying separately. The acupuncture cure group used acupuncturing the “lingtai” and “shendao”points; The TCM with acupuncture cure group applied the Pingxindingjitang( The prescription shengdi30g xuanshen15g maidong30g dangshen30g wuweizi12g danshen30g huangqi30g chuanhuanglian15g kushen15g gansong30g guizhi9g zhigancao9g. boiled with water one day one dose) supplemented by acupuncture to treat qi and yin deficiency type. The TCM symptom tongue and pulse changes were observed during the treating course . Result :In the total curative effect the obvious efficiency of the acupuncture cure group was 33.33% and the total effectiveness was 83.33%;The TCM with acupuncture cure group respectively was 36.67% and 86.67%.The two groups had non-statistics differences (p0.05).The TCM with acupuncture group appeard obvious differences on the 5 groups of symptoms after the treatment(p0.01) such as palpitation, chest distress, dizziness, weakness and insomnia.
