Cao Xiaolan Abstract This study is divided into two parts:investigation on general status and clinical effects. 1. Investigation on general status Objective: To discuss the characteristics, pathogenesis and the most common symptoms of Toufeng Disease in Traditional Chinese Medicine through syndrome observation of the 102 cases patients. Methods: (1) Summarize the proportion of general conditions of all those patients above, such as gender, age, occupation. (2) Access the symptoms of headache and accompanied syndromes by syndrome observation schedule, healing effect evalued standard, and side effects. (3) Develop clinical symptoms observation schedule, each symptom will be scored, grade all the general symptoms with 0,1,2,3,4, tongue and pulse rate are not involved, and summarize the most common syndromes of Toufeng Disease. Results: (1) Among the 102 cases , aged from 18 to 65 years old, their mean age is 37.52 ± 12.65. In the general information, women accounts for 61.8%; education of secondary schools and universities accounts for 83.3%; mental, 51%; married, 68.6%; duration greater than 2 years 64.7%. (2) Among the102 cases, the most common syndrome is stagnation of wind and phlegm, accounting for 66.7%.
