Yalong Bay Yalong Bay (yà lóng wān 亚龙湾) is located 28 kilometers away from Sanya City (sān yà shì 三亚市) of Hainan Province (hi nán shěng 海南省). It is a half-moon bay in the south end of Hainan. With the total length of about 7500 kilometers, it is a famous tourist site in Hainan. The beach in the bay is smooth and wide. The sands there are white and soft and the sea water is clean and blue. It is regarded as the No. 1 Bay in China (tiān xià dì yī wān 天下第一湾The crystal blue sea, whose visibility is 7 to 9 meters, makes Yalong Bay an ideal place for diving. You can enjoy the undersea world with its multi-colored coral reefs, tropical fish, seabed treasures and wild shells. The old town of Lijiang differs from other ancient Chinese cities in architecture, history and the culture of its traditional residents the Nakhi people, therefore people there are called 胖金哥 and 胖金妹 (pàng jīn gē, pàng jīn mèi, male and female respectively). Tiger Leaping Gorge The Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge is the narrowest section, and in the center of the river is a huge rock called Tiger Leaping Rock. It is said that a tiger once leapt from the east bank, clearing the rock, to land on the west bank, hence its name. Songzanlin temple Gedan Songzanlin, sitting at 5 kilometers to the Northwest of Zhongdian County Township, with the Kari Mountain surrounded at the back, and Shika jokul standing to its west.
