The correlation study of Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome differentiation of Coronary Heart Disease with heart failure and periostin speciality：Cardiovascular disease，Internal Medicine of TCM Author ： CHU JIAN BO Tutor： WU YI NAN Abstract Objective: Through testing the periostin，BNP of coronary heart disease with heart failure，we may explore the correlation among Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) syndrome of CHD with HF ，the severity of heart failure and the level of periostin and BNP ，then provide the clinical basis for the study of integration of Traditional Medicine and Western Medicine. Methods: 93 CHD with HF patients were defined in clinic.Collecting the patients’general information，including symptoms，signs，tongue ， pulse and other clinical informations ，then all the patients were divided into three clinical types of TCM syndrome ：46 cases of qi-deficiency ，47 cases of yang-deficiency. According to the cardiac function standard of New York Heart Association，We devided patients into three groups ：31 patients were grade Ⅱ, 31 patients were grade Ⅲ , 31 patients were grade Ⅳ. 31 healthy volunteers were enrolled as normal control group. Collecting all of the research object of clinical data, using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay ( ELISA ) method for the detection of serum periostin protein level. The BNP was detected by using the United States of America Bo fitness company Triage heart failure quantitative diagnosis instrument. We analyzed these datum with the statistics software SPSSl6.0.
