Clinical Observation on Treating the Insomnia of Menopausal Syndrome with Gengnian Anshen Decoction Speciality：Internal Medicine of TCM Autor ：Lai Changyan Tutor：Prof.Sun Lijun Abstract Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of Gengnian Anshen decoction on the insomnia of menopausal syndrome,and to study the function mechanism.Meathods:60 patients conformed to the diagnosis standard are divided into two groups by random,therapeutic groups(30) are treated with Gengnian Anshen decoction,compared with 30 patients who are treated with Zhibai Dihuang decoction continuously for 4 weeks. We observed the change of their clinical symptoms and the scores of PSQI and Kupperman,simultaneously measured sex hormone of E , FSH,LH in the blood both before 2 and after treatment. Results:The total efficiency of therapeutic group is 90%,superior to the control group obviously(P ﹤0.05).Gengnian Anshen decoction improved the clinical symptoms of patients distinctly,the difference is remarkable in comparison to the control group.There are significant improvement in PSQI and Kupperman scores after treatment(P ﹤0.05),and the level of FSH,LH in the blood is reduced,but same as the contract group(P ﹥0.05),while E2 is especially raised (P ﹤0.05). Conclusion:Gengnian Anshen decoction could not only improve the quality of insomnia,but also improve the clinical symptoms of menopausal syndrome effectively.So it is worth further researching and widely using on clinic.
