Review 1.Have a chain drill to review the usage of “wh- + to do”. Each student makes one sentence which includes “wh- + to do” one by one. For Example: S1: I don’t know what to do next. S2: I can’t decide which one to buy. S3: I wonder how o get to the park. S4: Could you tell me when to leave for Disneyland? Presentation Discuss the ways of learning English, and put G ( good ) or B ( bad ) in front of each sentence. Consolidation 1.Make a survey. Ask your classmates about their methods of learning English. If the methods aren’t good enough, how to improve them? Practice 1. Discuss the riddles in 3 in groups and check the answers. 2. Have a guessing riddle competition in pairs and act out the dialog. Class activities Guess the following riddles. 1 What room can’t we live in ? 2 Which table doesn’t have legs? 3 Which month do soldiers hate? 4 What part of us goes up and never comes down? 5 How can you spell “ hard water’ in three letters?
