2012年,有103年历史的国际青年旅舍已经成为全球最大的青年旅行服务连锁机构外发展比较成熟,青年旅舍品牌在美国欧洲等地,特别是在西欧有较高知名度和认同率,而在我国却只有短短十多年的发展历史1998年,广东省率先建立了全国第一批国际青年旅舍,成为国际青年旅舍进驻中国的重要标志,并在国内流行开来作为一种新型的旅馆模式,国际青年旅舍还处于发展初期,且国内青年对其认知度较低,它能否在我国各个城市发展起来,发展中会遇到哪些问题,如何解决这些问题,值得我们去分析和研究,通过问卷调查和文献研究的方法分析了上海国际青年旅舍的住客情况以及发展现状展中受到诸多制约,如政策的制约,经营策略的偏差,知名度不高等等,针对上海国际青年旅舍发展中出现的问题,通过分析寻求可以改善目前上海国际青年旅舍经营状况的对策,如扩大发展规模,明确经营理念,提高公众认知度等等,使其得以更好地发展关键词:国际青年旅舍;上海;住客;发展对策
Abstract
By 2012, the 102-year-old International Youth Hostel Federation has been the globally largest chain organization of the youth travel service. IYHF has maturely developed overseas. Its brand has been very popular among the people of the United States, Japan, Europe and so on. It has been highly known and accepted especially in the west Europe but with only a decade’s history in China. In 1998, Guangdong was the first province in China to establish chains of IYHF, which marked that IYHF had entered the market of China.
As a new-born model of hotel, IYHF has still been in its early years of development, not to mention that it hasn’t been popular yet among the youth of China. It is worthwhile for us to make the analysis and do research on whether it can be any progress in cities of China or not, the problems on its developing path and how to deal with them. The author has taken the IYHF chain in Shanghai as an example to analyze the lodging and developing situations through the methods of questionnaires and documents research. For now, IYHF has seen many restrictions such as policies, deviation of management, low population etc. Finally, to deal with the problems on its developing path, the author has made a proposal of strategies for the management of the IYHF chain in Shanghai to achieve better progress through her analysis, for example, expanding the scale of development, clearing
