This paper analyzes and assesses civil servants’ withdrawal mechanism literature that originates from the CNKI social science database from 2001 to 2009. The result shows that it has four characters: research quality is not high, the overall is at elementary stage; research lacks of continuity, showing structural unbalance; research funding is inadequate, lacking of the academic standardization; research technique is backward, the empirical study is deficient. On this basis, this article has carried on the summary and the reflection, in order to improve the research on the withdrawal mechanism of civil servants.
