T he results show that the abnorm al summ er ra infa ll in N ortheast China has obv iou s reg ional characters, and the reg ion m ay be div ided into six independent areas approx mi ate ly. By investiga- t ing the d ifferences of w ater-vapor transportation between abno rm al drought/ f lood years and norm a l years, it is found that the abnorm a l w ater-vapor transportation paths and key part in drought/ f lood years have m arked d iffer- ences am ong the areas, and that the abnorm alw ater-vapo r transportat ion in drought years is no t smi ply contrary to that of flood years.
