Course Description and Requirement Lecture outline: New Curriculum Standard and Needs Analysis – especially analyzing learners’ needs-individual differences; Examining Various Syllabuses – structural syllabuses, functional-notional syllabuses, task-based syllabuses and so on; 3. Evaluating and Selecting Materials. Course Description and Requirement COURSE REQUIREMENTS（课程学习要求） 1. Students should complete assignments before coming to class. These assignments include recommended reading, written assignments and presentations. 2. Class work will include lectures, discussions and group work, which all students are expected to contribute to. Course Description and Requirement 3.
