Q5: Dialogue-based L and S (problem+solution+personal opinions) It is usually a dialogue between two students, or a student and a professor or a student and school officials (such as TA or a librarian). They mainly talk about topic of campus life, such as how to use materials in the library, or students’ union election or how to solve a problem in life. Sometimes the problem is only related to one person, and sometimes the problem is of importance to both of them. The conversation lasts for 60 to 90 seconds. The question is mostly like this: “ The students discuss two possible solutions to the woman’s problem.
