From the wisdom of the Earth to the Experience China, the application potential of the Internet of Things can be summarized in four areas: environmental monitoring, traceability items, smart grid, intelligent transportation. Environmental monitoring has commenced, the items traceable base is still weak, the smart grid attention, intelligent transportation will be the breakthrough point of the current development of Internet of Things.In this paper, the basic definition of the Internet of Things, networking products used in the transport of matter explain the enormous social and economic benefits of Things in the transport.
