Mexicos Health Minister Jose Angel Cordova said late Tuesday that the probable death toll from swine flu in Mexico has risen to 159, up from the 152 suspected cases announced earlier Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the swine flu crisis continues to spread worldwide.
At least 16 countries have confirmed or suspected infections.
This comes, as the World Health Organization admits the virus is too widespread to be contained.
It has raised its global alert level, but stopped short of declaring a full-blown pandemic.
There are 64 confirmed cases in the United States and eight cases
