In the globalization of the world economy, business English plays a very important role in enhancing the understanding between countries, and promoting the processes of international communication and cooperation. With the economic globalization and China’s entry into WTO, international exchanges between China and other English-speaking countries are becoming more and more prosperous day by day. Business English Letters play an important role in business English, which is the medium of international communication and catalyst of international economy. Therefore, the translation of foreign business letters have great influence on the international trade transaction, if well handled, it will stimulate the deal, and otherwise, it may arose disputes. Passive Voice is an important grammatical concept in English. Pragmatically, passive voice is often used in Business English, especially, in Business letters. In Business English, passive implies politeness, courtesy and tactfulness and it makes the language more objective and impersonal.
