Along with the development of the south Korean economy, kimchi is accompanied by the development point of view towards the world, is now a household name a healthy diet, kimchi has become synonymous with South Korea known by the world. Kimchi for south koreans again is not only a necessary food, meals is part of Korean life. It represents the koreans respect for the traditional culture, the love of the motherland. Kimchi culture is the important force of South Koreas national spirit, a symbol of the south Korean national cohesion and pride of the people. Kimchi properties for success is not only the success of the south Korean traditional culture, especially the Korean peoples success. In this paper, starting from the reality of the most popular south Korean kimchi, nutrition value and healthy function of kimchi is analyzed, further explore the kimchi culture as traditional Korean culture on the meaning of the south koreans.
