The application is very widespread. Speech coding, speech synthesis, speech recognition and speech enhancement are the primary kinds of technology of speech signal processing. Actually, speech is often disturbed by environmental noise.So that the speech quality will drop down. If it is serious,the speech processing system will work unnormally. Under this kind of circumstances, we must adopt signal handling mathod to enhance speech so that the noise from background can be controled. If we do this, the speech quality can be improved. So about speech enhancement technology, this text emphasizes on research and simulation about the control of background noise. Firstly, we have introduced various kinds of processing technology in detail. Secondly, on the basis of analysis about the technology of speech signal enhancement processing, we have designed a transform for digital filter to control noise so that the objective of speech enhancement can be made. Finally, in the environment of MATLAB, the speech signal that contains noise will be readed-in. Then through the transform for digital filter that has been devesed the simulation can be realized.
