in Junior High School
多媒体在初中英语教学中的合理利用
Abstract
In China, the government has paid much more attention to the English education in high school than any time in the past. Although the government, students, parents, teachers and researchers have spent a lot of time on getting higher scores, students gain a few practical skills and have poor oral English in fact. In recent years, the multimedia has been frequently used in the area of education especially in English teaching. Many educators and researchers have discussed and researched the possibility of using multimedia in English teaching. In nowadays, multimedia equipments are frequently installed and used in almost all schools, even in rural areas.
This thesis is making effort to explore how to create a better language-teaching environment by aids of multimedia technique in junior high school and find some ways of improving the teaching efficiency. The thesis will first present the theories that assist the application of multimedia in English teaching. In the second part, the conditions and significance of using multimedia in junior high school English teaching in China will be discussed. In the third part, the thesis will focus on the negative factors on the application of multimedia. And the last part is providing some solving ways.

摘 要
随着我国英语教学的进一步发展,政府部门对中学英语教学投入很大的关注。虽然政府、学校、家长、学生都在为英语成绩的提高而努力,但英语教学效果却差强人意。在这样的情况下,教育者和研究者提出将多媒体技术运用到英语教学中,多媒体教学能够充分运用情感因素,激发学生学习兴趣和内在学习动机,促进学生学习英语的积极性,从而提高英语教学效果。
本文首先介绍了多媒体技术,多媒体教育以及它的理论依据及原则,接着介绍了多媒体技术在初中听、说、读各种英语教学活动中的运用,在此基础上分析出多媒体在初中英语教学中的意义和优点以及教师运用多媒体的误区,最后针对误区提出了一些实践运用多媒体在初中英语教学中的建议。
