The section that you can omit, in my perspective, should be Health while the added one should be the Future Career Planning. On one hand, even though all of us realize the importance of health, we can’t resist the influence of our living conditions, which are getting increasingly worse with P.M.2.5, additives and chemicals in foods and overwhelming genetically-modified foods. In other words, without the necessary safety measures and hygiene or care what happens to citizens, all we have done will get half the result with double efforts. Certainly, I do hope that all our students can have the awareness of health. However, no matter how much health knowledge we have learned, it’s difficult to practice it under unhealthy circumstances. Consequently, the section of Health is getting less meaningful to us. Maybe it’s better for it to give its way to a new section—Future Career Planning. Future Career Planning, on the other hand, is vital to every student. Soon, we’ll face the choice of majors in the university, which means the first step for the whole career life. Therefore, we need more information about the occupations to help us make correct choice and take up career interest. As for we students, who are almost cut off from the outer world, the information of career planning will be necessary and helpful for adapting ourselves to the fiercely competitive society. Just as Louis Pasteur said, “Chance favors only the prepared mind.”, this section must be appreciated by all of us.
