Types of jobs What it involves Reporter/ journalist Interview people or finds out events from onlookers Photographer Takes photos of important people or events Editor Makes sure the writing is clear, concise and accurate, check facts Designer Lays out the articles and photographs Printer Prints the newspaper Teaching suggestions: rearrange the order of the types of jobs a newspaper has and what they involve And ask the students to do the matches. Then ask them to copy what’s on the screen to their books.
