It is a preliminary course of Computer Graphics. 二、课程教学内容 1.Introduction to Geometric Models: Framework models; Surface models; Solid models: CSG models; Boundary representations; Oct-tree models; BSP-tree model; The merits and demerits of different models; Applications of different models. 2. Basics of Descriptive Geometry: Geometric elements (Points, Vectors, Rays, Lines, Line-segments, Planes, Triangles, Circular arcs); Properties (Distances, Areas, Intersections). 3. Planar Polygons: Definitions; Representations; Classifications; Basic computations (Areas, Simplicity, Convexity, Intersection check); Boolean set operations. 4. Planar Convex Hull: Definitions; Possible applications; Algorithms (Gift wrapping, Graham scan); Convex hulls of simple polygons. 5. Planar Tessellations and Triangulations: Definitions, properties, and representations of planar Tessellations; Voronoi Diagram (Definitions, Properties); Definitions, properties, and representations of planar triangulations; Triangulations from polygons; Triangulations from point sets; Delaunay triangulations (Definitions, Properties, Algorithms). 6. Polygon Meshes and Polyhedra: Representations of polygon meshes; Triangular meshes; Definitions, properties, and representations of polyhedra; Basic computations (Volume, Projections). 7.
