Second, the car production is increasing rapidly and more and more people can afford cars, which lead to serious traffic jam and accident. Third, cars that use new energy doesn’t go smoothly because of the immature technology and high cost. In 2009,Google has carried out this project, which was regarded as madness. It seems odd. But during the experiment of Google, their new cars have covered 1600000km and experienced 16 car crashes, very slight ones. According to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration(NHTSA)美国国家公路交通安全管理局, there are 93% traffic accidents are manmade. It means traffic stuck into quagmire today can be changed totally. However, the trouble Google faced is that how auto vehicles could work in harmony with traditional cars without accident. car can’t adapt to 99% roads in America on its own. Britain is determined to stand out in the field of driverless car. The first driverless car depends on sensing elements, Lutz Pathfinder has appeared on the streets in Britain in Feb, 2015, which is used to help passengers, shoppers and senior citizens.. The manufacturer RDM Group has announced that the test would be on in Bristol, Greenwich, Coventry and Milton Keynes.
