Teaching type: new lesson
Teaching aims:
1 Knowledge objectives :Ss can learn how to speak the new words: classroom,window,door, picture,?board,?light and grasp the phrases “What’s?in?the?classroom”. And apply the sentence pattern “Let me clean….”
2 Ability objectives: Students can learn how to describe something in the classroom in English and employ the sentence pattern to make dialogue with their classmates in their daily activities. 3 Emotional objectives: cultivating the students’ quality cherishing school things and promote their sense of cooperation.
Key points:
Learn the sentences “What’s?in?the?classroom? “and the new words: classroom,?window,?door,?picture,?board,?light
Difficult points:
1 Pay attentions to the pronunciation of “w” in window
2 Note the plural word pronunciation when ask the question “What’s?in?the?classroom?”
Teaching aids:
Multimedia ,tape, word cards, pictures
Teaching process:
Step1:Warm-up?/?Revision
1.Teacher play the recording of?“Chant?and?find”,students follow the record to say once more
2.Teacher put the pictures which suit for the content and then asking:“What’s in the picture? “let the Ss’ answer the question so as to lead the word “picture”.
3. Review the words: pencil,ruler,bag,book,pencil-case,sharpener,eraser,crayon, pen and so on.
4.Lead the students use the above words to ask and answer in pairs, for example:What’s?in?the?bag??What’s?in?the?pencil-case?
5.After the students answer the question teacher continue to ask:How?many?pencils/pens…? And the students try to answer with plural. For example:What’s?in?the?pencil-case??A?ruler,?two?pencils…
Step2:Presentation and practice?
1.Teacher put a picture of a classroom on the blackboard and say:This?is?a?classroom.?What’s in the?classroom?
2.If the students can understand, teacher may allow the students to try to answer; student who can speak
