Recommendation: Eliminate exhaust valves on B-1, B-3, and A-1 pumps. Excess pressure relief valves on A-1 Does not have piping to tank. “T” and reduce excess pressure relief valves from 2 to 1 and back to tank. Eliminate test valves on A-1’s. Relocate valves on discharge side of the reset to the “future building” risers. Delete test valve on B-2. Delete isolation valves between B-1 and B-2, and between B-2 and B-3 discharge lines. Separate discharge lines back to cistern for test valves and excess pressure relief valve. IR will purchase excess pressure relief valve with diesel pump package. FM will review hydraulic calculations for system. If valves on discharge side are required by code, relocate valves in f above to future building. Extend future riser lines to column F-1 on drawing SD1.5. Seismically brace along column lines with 12 meter spacing. SD2.18 Extend sprinkler test drainage line to ground level discharging to outside of building. Add sprinkler head in MIS room. The seismic bracing should be provided at the fire protection system.
