●Aims
Get the students to grasp:
1. Vocabulary: runner , eat .,well, run , star , lots of, healthy , desert , list
2. Target language: Do you like ….?Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
Does he she like ….? Yes, he she does. / No, he she doesn’t.
For breakfast/ lunch /dinner /desert , he /she likes……
3. Topic: Learn to talk about their likes and dislikes Learn to talk about their three meals

Ask and answer questions about likes or dislikes.
Talk about their three meals .

Make a healthy diet for three meals .

A tape recorder; Some pictures of food., a computer
●Methods
Scene teaching method, pair work, group work , discussion survey.
●Procedures
Step 1 Warming –up
Review the food vocabulary by showing pictures
Have a competition to see which group can list most .

What food do you like or dislike ? Why or why not?
Step 3 . Introduction:
Introduce food culture about western countries and Asian countries by showing pictures .
Step 4 Presentation Jim is healthy . He eats lots of healthy food . For breakfast ,he likes …. . For lunch
he likes …. . And for dinner , he has … and for dessert ….. .
Step 5. Pair work
Get ss to ask about what they and their parents like and dislike about three meals . A: What do you /your parents like for breakfast /lunch/ dinner/ dessert B: I/ They like …….for breakfast / lunch / dinner /dessert
Step 6. Role play Ask some ss to perform the conversation .
Step 7 Reading Read 3a , answer some questions . Guess the meaning of the new words from the context. Retell 3a.
Step8. Writing Finish 3b and 3c
Step 9. Survey
Interview the ss what they like to eat for each meal .
