Where does he/she live? This is my new pen pal.
StepⅡ 1a
Say “My name is Sissy Chen. I am from Xi’an, China. Where are you from?”
Ask others “where are you from? one by one.
Then show the flags of some countries on the screen. Have them tell which country’s flag it is. Then show them the names of the countries.
Learn the names of these countries. First have them read after me three times, and then let them read.
Show the pictures some famous people, have them tell me “where is he\she from?
Step Ⅲ 1a

1. Read the names of the countries three times.
2. Listen to the recording. Please repeat the names of the countries. (play the recording twice)
Step IV 1b
Listen and circle the countries in 1a you hear.
1. Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.
