Starting torque is also devided by 3 . (0,5 Tn instead of 1,5 Tn ). The speed is stabilized when motor and resistant torque are stabilized. Then wirings are switched to Delta and the motor reaches its own characteristics == Mechanical shock when switching and transitory peak current very short but very high (contactor poles can be welded).
