I am considering buying a new car. 14. improvement n. -- improve v. make some improvements to the website 15. take a photograph by和until / till的用法 by表示“不晚于……，在……之前” until /till 表示“到……为止，直到……” 如果句子中的谓语动词是延续性的动词，只需用until，此时until 和till 可以互换。 如果句子中的谓语动词是瞬间性的动词，要用not…until…(直到……才……)，此时until 不能用till 替换。 e.g. We need to be at the airport __ 6:00. They will be in Paris ____ Tuesday. They will __ go to Paris ____ Tuesday. tell的用法 1. vt. 告诉 tell sb. (not) to do sth. Tell him to call me before 5:00. I told her about the trip. tell sb. + that 从句(常为间接引语) He told me that he was a policeman. 2. vt. 区别，辨别 e.g. I can’t tell her from her sister. I can’t tell which is better. 3. 固定搭配 tell a lie / tell a story / tell the truth ? 比较：tell, say, speak 和 talk say vt. 着重说的具体内容，强调说什么，必须有定语；也可以跟从句。 e.g. say a few words / say nothing to sb. say something in English / say hello to sb. say something about speak vi. 着重开口讲话，强调发出声音或运用语言的能力, 后面不能跟从句。 vt. 常以语言作宾语 e.g. speak to sb. (about sth.)
