For example , Student A sings very well ,she won the first prize in a sing com–petition last year. So we say she has musical ability. Student B can play football well, he has scored twelve goals for our school team. I think he has great sport ability. Teach the word ‘ability’. Step 2 Presentation 1﹑Talk to students about superman. T: What is superman able to do ? S: ┅ 2、Guide students to understand the meaning of “can” and “cant”. （呈现一幅超人飞行的图片） T: Who is he? S: Superman T: What can he do? Can he fly? S: ┅ T: What do you think about Eddie? Is he a superdog? Can he fly? Lets listen to the tape recordor and find the answers to these questions. Step 3 Practice Listen to the tape recorder and answer the questions above. Read and act the dialogue of comic strip. Step 4 Presentation Tell the students: People have different abilites. Some people use their Abilities to help others. Would you like to help others if you can? What can We do for others? 2、Ask the students to discuss what they can do.
