Conclusion—describe the expected results Guidelines for Writing Effective Steps Number each steps start it with a verb Put steps in sequential order Describe each step separately Indent explanations (not number them) in italics or with parentheses Describe conditions first Group steps / procedures under subheadings 1-space within steps, 2-space between steps Use diagrams / graphics to clarify if needed
