* 连词是一种虚词，不能独立承担句子成分，而只能起连接词与词、短语与短语或句子与句子的作用。连词主要分为并列连词和从属连词。 英语句子按照结构分为简单句、并列句和复合句三种。简单句是只有一套主谓结构的句子。并列句是由并列连词把两个或两个以上的简单句连接起来的句子。且前后分句的时态往往一致。复合句是由一个主句和一个或者一个以上的从句构成的句子，从句是主句的一个句子成分，从属于主句。 第二部分 语法专题 专题七 连词和并列句 Ⅰ. 表示并列关系的连接词 1. and的用法 and的用法 用法 例句 连接语法作用相同的词、短语或句子，表示并列或对称的关系。 You can read and write after work. 你工作之后可以读读写写。 They speak Chinese and I speak Chinese , too. 他们说汉语，我也说汉语。 表示动作的先后关系。 He put on his coat and went out. 他穿上外套出去了。 用法 例句 用在come，go，try等动词后连接另一个动词，表目的。 Let’s go and ask Miss Green. 我们去问问格林小姐吧。 表条件和结果。 Come early and you will see him. 早点过来你就能看到他。 连接两个相同的动词、副词或形容词、副词的比较级表强调，加强语气。 The little boy danced and danced. 那个小男孩跳啊跳。 连接两个数词，表示“加”。 What’s seven and eight? 7加8等于多少？ 用于固定词组或者固定结构中。 The bank is between our school and the hospital. 银行就在我们学校和医院之间。 注意： 由and连接的两个表“条件和结果”关系的分句时，若第一个分句是祈使句，第二个分句需用将来时，其含义相当于由if引导的条件状语从句。 Work hard, and you will win the prize.
