PURPOSE To define the procedures used to assess the compliance of Finished Goods to product and customer specifications prior to delivery of product to customer. This procedure provides a guide and logical sequence of activities that when conducted individually, and / or in combination, provides assurance that finished goods shipped from our grill factories in Asia meet the required Char-Broil, customer and third party certification requirements. SCOPE This procedure applies to all factories in Asia currently supplying Finished Goods to Char-Broil. This procedure applies to any products developed by CB New Product Development Teams NPDT and produced by factories in Asia. This procedure is applicable to the following conditions, but not limited to: All finished good grills produced in support of Core Line, Premium and Specialty Products. All finished good grills produced for customers whether through customer direct import programs or shipped via Char-Broil logistical operations. Provides overall coordination and efforts to assure products meet the Char-Broil, Customer and Certification Requirements prior to shipments to the customer. Exercises the authority to oversee product and procedures directly impacting the quality of the products produced at supplier factories. Product Engineering, Asia Operations – Insures that the Product Development Teams and Customer specifications and expectations are transmitted and communicated
