Focus on understanding the sonatas most popular eighth generation model, through the research object for the sonata eighth generation models, introduces in detail the structure of Sonata power system of engine crank, respectively from the engine system linkage, valve, fuel supply system, ignition system, starting system, cooling system, lubricating system are presented. The structure of Sonata engine understanding, combined with the failure to meet the sonata car was in the shop were studied, using the method of combination of theory and practice, solve the common fault of Sonata analysis and troubleshooting, maintenance of fault. In this paper, through the Sonata in the running process, common fault analysis and judgment, through the life of a few examples, fault analysis and elimination of Sonata car start engine encountered in the process of running.
