Solar energy is a regenerative and clean energy . The research of Solar Water Heater becomes more and more important . Collector is one of the most important components in the solar water heater, solar collector is the core of heat absorption plate, its function is to absorb the suns radiation, and transfer heat to the heat transfer medium. When liquid as the medium, the absorption of heat plate has a tube plate, wing tube, flat cartridge, snake tube type, etc., the available metal materials and nonmetal materials. Heat absorption plate surface of the sun painted with black heat absorption coating. Wrote this paper plate collector and vacuum tube collectors development background, working principle, structure, and then comparing the performance between the two, can find flat collector and architecture combination, easy to realize integration of solar water heater and architecture, but the vacuum collector flexible structure, high conversion efficiency, very suitable for small family users, anti-freezing windproof ability, long service life, low technical requirements for installation and maintenance is also more easy.
